🌾 Workers on FAIRTRADE flower farms enjoy a range of benefits. For example, overtime is paid, they are entitled to maternity leave and there are strict regulations on the use of chemicals, which protect both the environment and workers.
☀️FAIRTRADE roses have, on average, a five times lower carbon footprint than roses grown in heated greenhouses in Europe - even when transport is included. This is because they are grown in naturally heated and lighted greenhouses where there is plenty of heat and sunlight.
💚 If you choose roses with the FAIRTRADE seal, you show that you care for your loved ones, for the environment and above all for the rights of workers.
