VW plaintiff Clara Mayer calls for more climate protection from Volkswagen shareholders

No Description

Clara Mayer is one of four climate plaintiffs who, together with Greenpeace Germany, are suing Volkswagen for more climate protection.

While Volkswagen is meeting tomorrow for the annual general meeting to determine stately dividends, Clara, the plaintiff, finds clear words:

In a video message, Clara appeals to the VW board to take responsibility for the climate. The group is burdening the world with high costs with its current climate-damaging company course. Volkswagen plans to sell climate-damaging combustion engines worldwide by 2040 - but to ensure that the 1,5 degree limit is not exceeded, the group will have to stop producing new diesel and gasoline engines by 2030 at the latest.

In the Greenpeace lawsuit against Volkswagen, this is exactly what is being heard in court. Leave your support and sign the petition: https://act.gp/3M703Wy
