Our new discovery follows the path of Austrian heifers (cows that have not yet given birth to a calf) to Turkey. Thousands of so-called breeding cattle are exported from Austria to third EU countries every year. Not only are the transports themselves highly problematic - it must also be doubted whether the "breeding efforts" in these third countries are even taking place.
