Animal rights activists from @SOKOTIERSCHUTZ were undercover on two fishing boats in the English Channel and the North Sea for several days. They documented the daily cruelty to animals and the brutal handling of fish and other marine animals in trawling. Fish and fish products that are caught and processed in this way also end up in Austria.

This cruel fishing method is legally permitted in the EU. It has long been scientifically proven that fish feel pain. They know fear, suffer from stress and are conscious.
