Our oceans are being destroyed by overfishing, the climate crisis, plastic waste and oil drilling. Six out of seven sea turtle species are already threatened with extinction.
But there is still hope for our blue planet: a global network of marine protected areas.
To make this possible, we need a strong global ocean treaty that is currently being negotiated at the United Nations. People around the world work together to make this possible.
Turtle Journey was produced by Aardman Animations (Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep) and Greenpeace.

Greenpeace is an international environmental organization that works with non-violent actions to protect livelihoods. Our goal is to prevent environmental degradation, change behaviors, and implement solutions. Greenpeace is non-partisan and completely independent of politics, parties and industry. More than half a million people in Germany donate to Greenpeace, thereby ensuring our daily work to protect the environment.
