Today and tomorrow, governments in the WTO are negotiating the suspension of patent rights during the pandemic. This could produce vaccines and Covid drugs that benefit everyone.
But this proposal, put forward by India and South Africa, has since been blocked by the rich countries.
We were in front of the Federal Chancellery yesterday because Austria supports the EU's blocking position. The greedy vaccination nationalism of Austria and others kills! Finally release the patents!
