In a collaboration between @Brut and @Greenpeace USA, Ivy Schlegel, a global researcher at Greenpeace USA, breaks the lies around plastic packaging.
From the beaches of Southeast Asia to remote Antarctica, there is plastic pollution everywhere, harming animals like turtles and seabirds, and affecting human health. Scientists have even found microplastics in the air we breathe and in the food we eat. And because most of the plastic is made from fracked gas and oil, this also has an impact on the climate. To really tackle this crisis globally, we need to solve the problem at its source.
