Panel discussion and project presentation of "Food Campus Berlin" on October 12, 2022, 18.30 p.m
The current nutritional patterns of the affluent society and last but not least the unlimited consumption of food lead to an enormous consumption of resources worldwide. On this evening we will discuss the effects of the food industry on nature conservation and impending food crises with representatives from art, business, science and nature conservation.
The welcoming address by Thomas Tennhardt (Director, NABU International) will be followed by a keynote speech by agroecology expert Prof. Antonio Ináco Andrioli. He is a former Bread for the World scholarship holder and co-founder of the Universidade Federal de Fronteira Sul, a state university in southern Brazil. At the end, an innovative project in the food industry, "Food Campus Berlin", will be presented to the audience.
