New training as an innovation and problem-solving coach

The The non-profit organization "Partnership for 21st Century Skills", the "World Economic Forum" and a dozen other teams of experts have one thing in common: They come to the conclusion that creativity, innovative strength and problem-solving skills are key competencies of the 21st century. Quality Austria has created its own job profile for this and will be offering training as an innovation and problem-solving coach from 2023. 

Quality Austria, Austria's leading provider of accredited personal certification, presents the course program for 2023. Among other things, a new course for innovation and problem-solving coaches with a focus on quality and management systems will be included. Anni Koubek, business developer for quality and innovation at Quality Austria, is convinced of the practical benefit of the learning content of the two-day course: "We give the participants a tool set that they can use in innovation projects, ideas for improvement or problem-solving. The focus is on proven methods from practice.” The course will be held in Linz. After passing the exam, participants receive a certificate that is valid for three years.

Hot topic: supply chain law

The seminar “Supply Chain Act: Understanding and Fulfilling Corporate Due Diligence” will also be completely new in the coming year. Also a very explosive topic for Koubek, especially since it is relevant for numerous industries: "The supply chain law affects many companies - either directly or as a supplier. In our seminar, the participants learn what is meant by the Supply Chain Act and the associated corporate duty of care – and how this duty can be fulfilled in practice.” There are dates for these one-day seminars in Linz and in Vienna. The target group includes employees in procurement, sustainability and ESG managers as well as risk managers and system officers across all industries.

Crisis management and crisis communication

In Europe, too, the systemically important food industry is increasingly coming into focus, and there are also crises in the companies. How to deal with this is taught to participants in the all-day seminar “Crisis Management and Crisis Communication” in Vienna. Anni Koubek: “In the course of this seminar, we work out all the phases and escalation levels of a crisis together. Through numerous practical examples, the participants get the know-how about the measures to be taken to prevent crises.” Another new course in the food sector is the one-day seminar “IFS Food – understanding the requirements and putting them into practice”. The latest version is taught either in a face-to-face course in Vienna or in a virtual training session.

The globally recognized process means that the certificates are recognized both nationally and internationally. The tests are conducted on the basis of objective criteria.
