New online offers from the MKÖ for strong moral courage


Awareness raising and knowledge transfer, especially for young people, is an important part of the work of Mauthausen Committee Austria (MKÖ). However, Corona does not make this work easy. On-site events and museum or exhibition tours are canceled for the time being.

"In order to still give young people access to the important content, we are now starting new virtual mediation campaigns. We have a common goal for all offers: We raise awareness of a never again!“, Says MKÖ chairman Willi Mernyi.

On the websites of the offers “denk mal wien”, “Civil courage TRAINING”, “Civil.Courage.Online” and the Mauthausen satellite camp guides there are videos with the trainers, mediators and guides of the MKÖ that provide insights and information from the individual Present projects.
