60 minutes of fascinating nature photography at the highest level, plus stories and live conversations about nature, photography and the environment.
In over 30 years of adventure and nature photography, Markus Mauthe has witnessed global changes. He has been supporting Greenpeace and various campaigns for around 20 years. With his professional know-how - the nature photography - he shows in every episode of the series “The world in view” the beauty of individual natural landscapes and why it is worth fighting to save them. One conversation partner is switched on live, in the next 3 episodes master of nature photography
You belong to the top of nature photographers and know ecological relationships like no other. In the second part of the Greenpeace online series “Masters of Nature Photography”, Markus Mauthe visits the photographer, Bernd Römmelt, who is fascinated by the Alps and the Nordic regions. Look forward to an amusing, but also well-founded conversation between two photographers who are masters in dealing with light and colors in photography. When a Bavarian who spends at least 200 days of the year in cold regions and a Swabian who loves the Brazilian rainforest meet and both suffer from the extreme climatic changes, it can only be passionate. Photos with brilliant radiance, compassionate experiences in nature and the urgent appeal to finally start making changes. Let's preserve the beauty of nature!
Get involved and ask questions via the chat, which will be answered by Markus Mauthe afterwards.
“By passing on my experiences and getting people excited about nature through my photographs, I hope that they will work to protect the environment. I realize that not everyone can change everything at once, but if we all start to rethink our own way of life and its consequences, a lot has already been done! "
The series “The world at a glance” usually takes place every 4 weeks. Now there are 3 special programs with the masters of nature photography.
