Single-use plastic is dangerous throughout its life cycle - from fossil fuel production to disposal. Plastic production is devastating and has been linked to health consequences such as asthma and cancer. But corporations like Nestlé, Coca Cola and Pepsi shirk any responsibility and continue to work with the petroleum industry to increase plastic production many times over.
