Originally published on August 23, 2013 Alfredo Moser's invention, a lamp made out of a plastic bottle filled with water and bleach, has been spreading around the world and it's coming to life.

The mechanic Alfredo Moser from Brazil, the groundbreaking lamp has already invented 2002. A large plastic bottle filled with water and a spoonful of chlorine against algae formation, donated since then in many countries light in corrugated iron huts and Co. The plastic bottles Moser has mounted through milled holes in the roof and sealed so that it can not rain. The light rays can now reach the inside of the huts through the transparent plastic bottles, breaking themselves in the water and it becomes very bright in the living room. A bottle outside corresponds to a light bulb from 40 to 60 Watt - without electricity. Meanwhile, the concept has been further developed and supplemented with solar panels.
