An often overlooked environmental disease
The aim of the international weeks of electrosensitivity or electrohypersensitivity is that affected people worldwide become clearly visible and audible as a large group.
Electro(hyper/high) sensitivity sufferers and their relatives must finally be taken seriously so that they can lead a healthy life.
Politicians and authorities have been ignoring this problem for many years because they do not want to stand in the way of a financially strong business lobby and so people are only too happy to believe the "scientific" mouthpieces installed by industry that the pulsed microwave radiation from mobile communications and digital wireless data transmission is harmless may be.
And a large part of the population unfortunately only too willingly believes the lies and half-truths about the protective limit values and the economic relevance of mobile communications, so as not to have to question their own mobile use or even mobile (smartphone) addiction....
The inclusion of minorities and the handicapped, which is otherwise held up like a monstrance by those responsible, has not taken place here so far - that has to change!!
It's all well and good that ramps are built for wheelchair users and that there are offers for blind and deaf people in public facilities to enable these people to participate in public life.
But who thinks of all the people who react to the now ubiquitous exposure to radio radiation with some of the most severe symptoms? Who can no longer find an apartment or a job in our radio-crazy society?
It could be everyone
Reliable estimates say that about 2% to 8% of the population is electrohypersensitive, which means that these people suffer greatly from the stress. It is based on an unreported figure of about 20% of the population whose health is affected by the electromagnetic fields. However, many of them do not (yet) associate their symptoms with the radiation exposure.
In the testimonials of those affected, you can always find a repeating pattern:
Up until a certain point in time, these people lived completely normal lives. Often they even use the mobile phone technology themselves without giving it any thought. At that point, these people have either relocated to the immediate vicinity of a cell phone tower, or one has been installed under their noses. From this moment on, the story of suffering begins, insomnia, headaches, muscle cramps, cognitive disorders, cardiovascular problems, poor immune system, etc.
This is often followed by an odyssey from doctor to doctor, general practitioner, internist, neurologist, cardiologist, psychologist, rheumatologist, etc. But none of the "demigods in white" can really help...
At some point - often by accident - those affected notice that the exposure to radio radiation is the trigger of their suffering. Renate Haidlauf has put together harrowing testimonials from those affected in her book "The Unauthorized Disease":

what must happen
So there must finally be radio-free zones in public space, comparable to non-smoking areas. Sheltered housing must be provided. There must also be adequate medical care.
The previous policy of unbridled and unreflected digitization must be revised. Data belongs in the fiber optic cable and not on radio bands! The population must be objectively informed about the risks of mobile phone technology, similar to alcohol and tobacco.
Social and political demands on the subject of mobile communications and wireless data transmission
If we don't act here, we will soon have massive public health problems. The damage to health caused by the technical electromagnetic fields will increase more and more, as a result of which the economic damage caused by absenteeism will take on worrying dimensions.
