Huge success for the Forest Carpathians: The EU Parliament judges the planned mega ski resort in Svydovets to be illegal and calls on Ukraine to take immediate measures against illegal logging. We are very pleased that the BMF's multi-year campaign with the Free Svydovets movement was successful and that the protection of the ecologically unique forest Carpathians is getting closer! Now the task is to initiate a sustainable development of the region together with the local population of Svydovets.
