Germany's largest clothing swap party in the Millerntor Stadium

On the occasion of Earth Overshoot Day 2022, Greenpeace, together with many volunteers and external helpers, organized over 60 clothing swap parties all over Germany.

On the occasion of Earth Overshoot Day 2022, Greenpeace, together with many volunteers and external helpers, organized over 60 clothing swap parties throughout Germany. More than a thousand visitors all over Germany celebrated the alternatives to buying new textiles with us! 🎉🎈

And this is what it looked like at Germany's biggest #clothes swap party with FC St.Pauli in the Millerntor Stadium in Hamburg!

We are still very enthusiastic about all the visitors who are keen on swapping - and above all about the many new people who were at a clothes swap event for the first time! Because the most sustainable piece of clothing is always one that doesn't have to be remade! ❤️

Together we have set an example for living sustainability that is fun - while the textile industry continues to rely on climate-destroying disposable textiles with #FastFashion!

We want to start with you into a new future and show: Beautiful fashion does not have to destroy the climate and poison water!
Together we start the #ReUseRevolution ✊

If you have now got a taste for swapping clothes, or are looking for specific places for alternatives to buying new clothes, you can now find them on our #ReuseRevolution Map ✨. From second-hand shops to flea markets, rental and repair offers to clothing swap parties, everything is there 😍. You are also welcome to enter your favorite places and clothes swap parties you have organized yourself and add them to the map:
