G7 leaders are failing to act on the hunger crisis in East Africa | Oxfam GB
No Description
This Friday, the heads of state and government of the G7 meet - and despite earlier promises, they fail to take action against the hunger crisis in East Africa.
Hunger will soon peak as one person is expected to die of hunger every 28 seconds in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan through July.
Magnus Corfixen Oxfam's Humanitarian Director:
“G7 leaders' silence on the East Africa crisis is deafening given the commitments they made just two years ago. Your decision to protect your eyes and ears from the human cost of hunger is reprehensible.”
