“Imagine visiting a restaurant in 2050. What will be on your plate - the good old schnitzel, a vegetable burger or meat that was bred in the laboratory? Or will your plate remain empty because a global population that has grown to ten billion people simply cannot be fed? The exhibition Future Food. Essen for the world of tomorrow confronts you with one of the greatest challenges of our time ”(DHMD, 2020).
The last exhibition “Future Food. Food for the world of tomorrow ”in Dresden. It provides insights into current research, global challenges in dealing with the growing population or climate change, but also the sensual enjoyment of eating. In the exhibition, various artists and designers show their works to awaken people's desire to deal with the future of food. Above all, however, visitors should leave the exhibition with the question: “Will WE do it better in the future?"
