“Innovations in the field of climate protection make a significant contribution to Austria's competitiveness and location quality”, so the balance in Austrian Infrastructure Report 2021published by the Future Business Austria initiative.
The press release on the occasion of the publication stated: “87 percent of the 240 managers surveyed for the Austrian Infrastructure Report 2021 stated that the 'expansion of new technologies for higher energy efficiency' and 81 percent that the 'expansion of new technologies for climate protection' would have high priority for the competitiveness of Austria. It was also shown that the topic of energy transition as a location quality is gaining approval among managers: If only 15 percent of those surveyed saw significant advantages in the energy transition for the business location last year, this year it is already significantly more, namely 41 percent.
For the infrastructure report, expert contributions, a representative survey of 240 managers of Austrian companies with more than 100 employees and qualitative interviews with 100 leaders from politics and administration were used.
