FAIRTRADE has updated its cocoa standard. This strengthens the commitment against deforestation and exploitative child labor.
🌍 The changes include additional requirements related to deforestation, as well as corporate human rights and environmental due diligence. In addition, the focus is on more traceability and transparency in the cocoa business.
