Expert interview with Univ. Prof. Dr. Uta Hauck-Thum Uta Hauck-Thum and Rector Micha Pallesche
Uta Hauck-Thum has been Professor of Primary School Education and Didactics at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich since 2018. The former primary school teacher is in charge of the development and research of digital forms of teaching in primary schools in Germany. As a scientist, she accompanies a primary school in Munich whose school concept is based on digital teaching concepts.
Micha Pallesche is the rector of the Ernst Reuter Comprehensive School in Karlsruhe, which was recognized as the first Smart School in Baden-Württemberg in 2017 due to its high media education profile. Mr Pallesche has been doing his doctorate at the University of Education in Heidelberg since 2012 and is developing media concepts for schools with other teachers.
In our expert interview, we talk to the two of them about the connection between climate and educational justice, why equal opportunities does not automatically mean equal opportunities and how a cultural transformation can succeed in schools in a world that is characterized by increasing digitization and noticeable climate change .
