We are excited to announce our new Co-Executive Director: Ebony Twilley Martin. Ebony is the first Black Woman ED by a national environmental organization in the USA - a historic moment for Greenpeace.

Ebony joined Greenpeace USA in 2013 and was most recently our Chief Operating Officer for Justice and Justice. Ebony will join Annie Leonard as Co-Executive Directors to better serve Greenpeace employees and supporters and create a greener, more peaceful world.

As a Black woman and a leader, Ebony has played an active role in promoting justice in our organization. One of her goals as ED is to build a bridge between Greenpeace and color communities. That means working together to drive climate change solutions that not only replace our polluting energy systems, but also create a healthier, safer and fairer future for everyone.
