Mohamed is moving from Park Hotel Prison to Amnesty Ambassador Craig Foster. Mohamed recently tested positive for COVID-19 along with most of the refugees incarcerated there.

He shares his story in hopes of inspiring Australians to action. From persecution in his home country to fleeing and trying to find refuge in Australia to nine years in prison.

Mohamed's story, like so many others, is testament to the cruelty of Australia's offshore detention policy and yet another example of why it must end.

New Zealand has a permanent offer to relocate all incarcerated refugees like Mohamed. The Australian government has so far refused to accept this offer.
