NO to the free trade agreement with Indonesia: Hundreds of thousands of hectares of tropical rainforest are acutely threatened by planned oil palm plantations in the Indonesian province of Papua. The planned reduction in the price of palm oil in trade between Indonesia and Switzerland is further encouraging deforestation. The Bruno Manser Fund is therefore against the free trade agreement with Indonesia, which will be voted on on March 7, 2021.
