Climate research laboratory for children opened in St. Pölten

In the Sonnenpark St. Pölten, an extracurricular learning location has been created where children and young people can playfully deal with climate and energy issues.

“The laboratory in the middle of the green acts as a living and practical demonstration object and has age-appropriate climate measuring instruments and materials for climate experiments. The children and young people can do their own research in the green climate research laboratory and learn about climate and energy as well as local, regional and global connections through their own experience and playful learning, ”the broadcast said.

The climate research laboratory can be used for workshops with schools and also offers an open offer for interested children and young people. The project was also nominated for the European Award for Ecological Gardening 2021.
