Proviande supports more sustainable agriculture - for a few hours. On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, Greenpeace activists put a fake website from Proviande, the branch organization of the Swiss meat industry, online. It should look as if Proviande had finally recognized how environmentally harmful the feed imports of Swiss livestock farming are, and adjusted their sales promotion financed by the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) accordingly. This online campaign was accompanied by a visit to Proviande in Bern, where the organization's logo was changed to «Prolocal».
