Hectares of tropical forest are being destroyed every minute - above all for our food, more precisely for soy as animal feed, palm oil, meat, cocoa and coffee - but also for wood products. And that's not all: there are also species extinction, environmental pollution, climate damage and even child and forced labor - this is not recognizable for the end consumer, because none of this is visible on the packaging.

There is currently no law prohibiting this. A handful of giant raw material suppliers like Cargill benefit from this. This is #CargillsBadWorld.

We no longer want to and cannot accept that. We want to uncover the machinations of the resource giants! And stand up for an EU law and stop this machinations.

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is one of the largest and most experienced conservation organizations in the world and active in more than 100 countries. Around five million supporters worldwide support him. WWF's global network maintains 90 offices in more than 40 countries. Around the world, employees are currently running 1300 biodiversity conservation projects.

The most important instruments of WWF conservation work are the designation of protected areas and the sustainable, ie nature-friendly use of our natural assets. In addition, the WWF is committed to reducing pollution and wasteful consumption at the expense of nature.

Worldwide, WWF Germany is involved in 21 international project regions for nature conservation. Priorities include the preservation of the Earth's last major forests - in the tropics and in temperate regions -, the fight against climate change, the use of living seas as well as the preservation of rivers and wetlands worldwide. WWF Germany also runs numerous projects and programs in Germany.

The WWF's goal is clear: if we succeed in sustainably preserving the greatest possible diversity of habitats, we can also save a large part of the world's animal and plant species - and at the same time preserve the network of life that also bears us humans.
