Big Brother Awards - We are looking for the supervisors
On the 25. October, the Big Brother Awards 2019 take place. Therefore, it is time to find and nominate all those companies, organizations and authorities that have not, or only insufficiently, paid attention to respecting our rights or who have not respected our privacy.
Every summer, the concrete preparations for the Big Brother Awards begin, and we ask for your help:
- the biggest data octopuses must be found
- the most outrageous snoop monsters must be unmasked,
- the information must be viewed and evaluated
- the show has to be prepared.

In the summer of 2013, Edward Snowden's revelations sparked global surveillance and espionage affairs and provided insights into the extent of global surveillance practices. In the shadow of this total surveillance, many still believe they can hide. Even though the NSA stores all phone calls, that does not mean that any mobile app can turn on the camera and the microphone in order to be able to switch targeted advertising.
