The EU court ruled today: Apple does NOT have to pay 13 billion euros in additional taxes in Ireland!
The verdict shows that the fight against corporate tax tricks must be won politically and not legally. Because the problem is not a rotten apple, the problem is the rotten and holy international tax rules.
As long as governments remain complicit in corporations, they will continue to do tax tricks at the expense of the general public. Governments must therefore finally say goodbye to the ideology of ruinous tax competition.
