Another animal protection scandal uncovered a supplier of “Berger Schinken”! "Showcase pictures" and large words on the company's website contradict reality: bitten tails and bloody ears, pigs with injured legs, a carcass in the bay passage. And everywhere (legal) full slatted floor.

Mag. Rudolf Berger, Managing Director of Berger Schinken, is personally affected by the pictures. “Compliance with the legal foundations in animal husbandry is not negotiable for us. Of course, all of our suppliers have to meet these requirements - we control them both through our own animal welfare officers and through public inspection bodies. ”Until the allegations were finally clarified, the company in question was blocked as a supplier to Berger Schinken.
