Climate-active hotel in Vorarlberg

Since summer 2019, the Hotel Lün in Brandnertal has been climate-active, making it the first of its kind in Austria.

This is achieved with the use of regional (organic) products from community deliveries, a pellet heating made from Ländle wood, with an e-filling station and, since August, one planted tree per booking.

As a result of these and other measures, the Hotel Lün only records around 1 / 6 of the average CO2 emissions of a hotel of its size and category. The rest is offset to 100% with compensation payments.
