After the destruction of the Kakhovka dam on June 6, 2023, devastating floods occurred in the Ukraine. While the exact effects on nature on the Dnieper River cannot yet be estimated, it is already clear: the drop in the water level in the reservoir can endanger the cooling of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in the medium term.
