While black, brown, and low-income Californians living near oil wells suffer twice from a public health crisis, our legislators are considering AB 345, a bill that would curb the dangerous practice of neighborhood drilling. But with the pandemic severely narrowing the legislature's window to pass bills, we can't let this moment by the wayside: we need Californians everywhere speaking out to get the attention of some key senators whose support depends on this bill.
