Together with the Federal Ministry for Digitization and Business Location (BMDW), Quality Austria invites all Austrian companies to participate in the State Prize for Corporate Quality 2022. Companies can apply until March 15, 2022 www.staatspreis.com apply. The award ceremony will take place on June 22, 2022 in Vienna. Last year, the VOEST-ALPINE Steel Foundation emerged as the winner.
“The constant striving for excellent corporate quality helps to keep moving and economically successful in view of dynamic market conditions. In the course of participating in the competition, the organizations receive comprehensive feedback on strengths and potential for improvement. They use this knowledge to make continuous improvements Franz Peter Walder, Member of the Board of Quality Austria, who is already looking forward to the upcoming submissions.
The State Prize for Corporate Quality has been awarded by the BMDW in cooperation with Quality Austria since 1996 and is the national award for holistic top performance by Austrian organizations. In 2022, the motto of the competition is "Create lasting meaning and inspire with excellence". "We are therefore focusing on the question of what excellent organizations can do to convince people of the benefits of sustainable work," explains Franz Peter Walder. The State Prize for Corporate Quality is awarded in five categories: large companies, medium-sized companies, small companies, non-profit organizations and organizations that are predominantly publicly owned. The assessment of corporate quality (or "excellence" or "business excellence") is based on the EFQM Excellence Model

Submit now and win
Registration for the State Prize for Corporate Quality 2022 is online via the website www.staatspreis.com. The submission deadline is March 15, 2022. After registration, an appointment for an on-site visit (assessment) will be arranged with the participants. Appointments are possible until April 30, 2022. Depending on the size and complexity of the organization, the assessors (appraisers) need between one and three days to get the broadest possible picture of the organization in strategy discussions and individual or group interviews. The jury, made up of representatives from business, science and the media, selects up to three finalists per category from all submissions. Finally, the winner of the State Prize for Corporate Quality is chosen from the category winners. In addition, the jury awards special prizes for particularly outstanding achievements.
The award ceremony will take place on June 22, 2022 in the Palais Wertheim in Vienna by the BMDW in cooperation with Quality Austria. Detailed information on the State Prize for Corporate Quality can be found at www.staatspreis.com.
