The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs for short) were approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations as part of the Sustainable Development Agenda adopted.
They include a total 17 Sustainable Development Goals and include a further 169 sub-goals.
The corona pandemic has exposed the weaknesses of global systems and has also clearly illustrated how the spread of poverty, vulnerable health systems, lack of education and a lack of cross-border cooperation are causing drastic aggravation.
