Sustainable Telekom: Recycle cell phones

At the latest when clearing out the year, one or the other discovers the drawer, which is full of old cell phones. Nobody really knows what to do with it - maybe you will need the old cell phone again sometime, or maybe someone else would like to have it - is the typical train of thought. In order to relieve you of these decisions, Telekom started the campaign "Stop wasting, start caring“To minimize the ecological footprint.

During the campaign, cell phones can be donated to collection points. The aim of the initiative is to permanently reduce plastic and packaging in the group. The lifespan of mobile phones is getting shorter and shorter and at the same time new products are in demand on the market. It is therefore important that the resources that are not used by dusty cell phones in drawers are reintroduced into the production cycle.

Since many Deutsche Telekom collection points are currently closed, the cell phones can also simply be used with the Collection box be sent.
