In the Austria-wide campaign “passathon - race for future”, 16 sustainably constructed buildings are presented in 350 regions. A total of around 16 kilometers can be covered by bike on 1000 suggested tours and so-called passathon lighthouses can be visited, which show what climate-friendly building can look like.
All of the objects presented are characterized by their up to 90 percent lower energy consumption compared to conventional buildings. From single and multi-family houses to kindergartens and high-rise office buildings to climbing halls, everything is included.
The sustainable buildings can between August 5 and September 30, 2020 can be explored at a safe distance despite Corona.
Austria cycles and passathon offer route suggestions in the Österreich Radelt apps - but the objects can of course also be approached individually using your own routes.
