Moor restoration measures are to be implemented on a project area in the Häsener Luch - a fen in Brandenburg that was drained by agriculture many decades ago. In this video, our moor protection experts give insights into their work on site. They explain why the road to climate protection is long, but more than worth it.

The time for moor protection is now! #MakePeatlandsWetAgain #LIFEMultiPeat

About the project:
The planned measures in Häsener Luch are part of the EU project LIFE Multi Peat, which NABU is implementing together with its international partners. A central goal: the restoration of a total of 698 hectares of degraded moorland in Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Ireland and Germany.
