Because there is currently so much talk about vaccination, we have picked out something interesting for you: In our project region Ginde Beret, the proportion of children who are protected against measles, polio or whooping cough through life-saving vaccinations, for example, has been drastically increased - from 67% in 2010 to 94% in 2018. In addition, almost 90.000 women were immunized against tetanus - an important protection not only for (expectant) mothers, but also for newborns. Because the neonatal form of tetanus is unfortunately still responsible for many infant deaths in countries like Ethiopia. Therefore: Vaccinations save lives. ❤️
