Did you know that statistically, all food produced in Germany since January ends up in the garbage? 😱 This is not only a waste of resources, but also a big problem for the environment. But we can all do something about it! 💪 Here are some tips to get started right away:

🛒 Plan your purchase carefully and only buy what's on the list
🍲 Clean out the pantry regularly and conjure up leftover menus
🥡 Pack leftovers at parties or in restaurants
📆 The best before date is not a throw away date, except for perishable products such as fish, meat, cream and soft cheese
👨 🍳 Store, process and preserve food properly

Each of us can end a large part of this waste. So let's work together to ensure that food ends up on the plate and not in the bin! On #FoodWaste Day, we demand stricter measures from politicians. 💚🌍
