We did it! Together with four other environmental protection organizations, we set off for the beautiful Platzertal in the Ötztal Alps to protest against TIWAG's plans to expand the Kaunertal power plant. 🚫⚡️ A huge 50-meter-long banner stretches across the high valley and proclaims in bold letters: "Platzertal stays!"

We did it! Together with four other environmental protection organizations, we set off for the beautiful Platzertal in the Ötztal Alps to protest against TIWAG's expansion plans for the Kaunertal power plant. 🚫⚡️

A huge banner, 50 meters long, stretches across the high valley and proclaims in bold letters: "Platzertal stays!" We are proud to be part of this movement for the preservation of our nature. 🌱💚

The Platzertal is home to Austria's largest and almost untouched high alpine moor and wetland complex, which extends over more than 20 hectares. These valuable natural areas are of enormous importance in times of the climate crisis. 🌍🌿

Now is the time to raise our voices and stand together for the protection of the Platzertal. We demand: STOP THE EXPANSION OF THE KAUNERTAL POWER PLANT! ❌⚠️
